Alchemystic Studio is multi time grant funded yoga movement rooted in QTIBIPOC liberation, ancestral wisdom, and decolonial embodiment. We cultivate radical healing through inclusive yoga, embodied activism, and creative expression—dismantling colonial frameworks while nurturing sacred belonging and fierce joy. Guided by integrity and intersectional justice, we empower community, uplift marganalized teachers, and aspire to collective liberation. Alchemystic Studio has become an internationally recognized space for community to access authentic accessible yoga; bridging ancient lineage with contemporary abolitionism to heal bodies, hearts, and communities.

Vuzmal Meesha Sharma (they/she) is a multi-diciplinary teacher, artist, and community organizer who draws their deepest inspiration from their Kashmiri and Punjabi lineages. They founded Alchemystic Studio in 2020 as a space to explore ancestral healing work with community, and queer the healing justice space. The space evolved into an online platform where folks come together to share discourse on current events through a yogic lens, explore what it means to decolonize and abolish casteism within yoga land, uplift queer and bipoc artists, join local movements, and create online workshops and healing containers.

As the first person born outside of South Asia in their entire lineage, Meesha has always served as a bridge between worlds. She believes her ancestors are the ones guiding her journey, and dedicates her work to them.

Meesha currently teaches yoga both online and in person, organizes retreats and events, creates art, and tends to her community. She is E-RYT 200 hr YTT trained and has been studying decolonial praxis since attending college at UMASS Amherst from 2008-2013. Meesha continues to be a sādhaka of yoga in it’s many iterations, a teacher who shares wisdom gleaned from lived experience, and a constant seeker of Universal Truths. 🙏🏽
